Reservations & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit equivalent to the cost of one night’s accommodation is required to secure your reservation at The One in The Middle, where reservations are made more than 4 weeks in advance of the date of stay. For bookings made less than 4 weeks before the commencement date, the total cost of the holiday is payable in full.
We accept payment by cash, bank transfer and cheque.
The balance is payable in full 4 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. In the event of payment not being received 4 weeks prior to the start date; the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
Your reservation will only be complete when payment has cleared and you have received confirmation from us.
In the event of cancellation, we will make all reasonable effort to re-let the accommodation, but if this fails, guests are kindly reminded that they are liable for the costs incurred. Guests are reminded that a booking is a legally binding contract and the deposit is non-refundable. After the balance has been paid in full, if we are able to re-let the property, the balance will be refunded and the deposit retained.
We recommend taking out Holiday Cancellation Insurance.
The One in The Middle reserve the right to cancel a booking forthwith without liability on its part in the event of damage or destruction to The One in The Middle by fire or other causes, any shortage of labour, or any other cause beyond its control that prevents it from performing its obligations in connection with any reservation. In such an event The One in The Middle will refund the full cost of the deposit.
The cottage is available from 3pm on the arrival day. Details regarding collection of the key will be provided to guests on booking.
Guests are requested to vacate by 10.00am on the day of departure.
Breakages and Spillages
Guests are asked to report any breakages or spillages that occur during their stay.
Guests are asked to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, as they find it on arrival.
The owner shall be allowed access at any reasonable time in order to carry out necessary maintenance.
The number of guests staying in the cottage must not exceed the number booked and the maximum number for the cottage.
Please do not leave dogs unattended in the accommodation or allow them on the furniture and they must be supervised when in the garden OF The One in The Middle. The guest is totally responsible for that pet.
The One in The Middle operates a No Smoking Policy in any room.
